Michele Turner, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS
Michele has over 20 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. She has worked in the areas of inpatient, community, and outpatient mental health and substance abuse facilities, with the most recent being employee assistance counseling. She enjoys working with individuals 18 to 99 on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, work stress, parenting issues, self-esteem, grief, among other issues. She also provides supervisory services to dependently licensed therapists and has an avid interest in providing supports to those in the field. She is person centered, trauma informed, and an ally. With her gifts of humor and metaphor, she provides a non-judgmental, safe, caring supportive space to explore the root causes of issues and develop necessary tools in order to cope and manage life.
In her spare time, Michele enjoys bargain hunting at thrift stores and flea markets. Reading spicy novels, carting her two boys around to their activities, and vacationing with her family. She would like to pretend that she is not a Disney adult, but signs would point otherwise. She is also obsessed with all things baseball and can often find herself down at the Jake in the summertime.
